Up to 10 minutes of video material from the current project. If this is not available, you may also submit up to 10 minutes of relevant previous work.

A trailer, teaser, pitch deck, or other sample material that conveys the project’s concept, form, or visual approach.

Up to 20 minutes of rough cut material, either as a selected clip or as a full rough cut with indicated timecodes for viewing. Selected projects must deliver the full rough cut by October 26, 2026. We recommend keeping the rough cut as condensed as possible.

Previous project history: Please list any previous training programs, labs, pitching events, or industry activities connected to this project, including previous participation in IDFA initiatives where relevant.

Please include the year, event or program name, city (if applicable), and project title if different from the current title.

• Total amount of budget, financing in place, and amount still required
• Targets: which industry professionals are most relevant to your project at this stage, and what kinds of connections or opportunities are you hoping to develop? Your input helps us determine which presentation format may best support your project.
• Finance plan for production and post-production: please outline the current financing structure of the project, including confirmed and anticipated financing sources, remaining financing needs, and relevant amounts (max. 250 words)
• Please describe any 'In kind' contributions in detail where relevant.

• You will be asked to provide names and contact details for the key team members involved in the project, including the producer, co-producer (if applicable), director(s), editor, distributor or sales agent, and, for new media projects, the wider creative team.
• For the director(s)/creator(s) and main producer(s), please also provide up to three previous credits and a short biography.
• For new media projects, please include the names and countries of the additional creative team members.

• This excel sheet is used to submit a detailed finance plan, including confirmed, requested, and still unsecured financing.
• Please include Letters of Confirmation for all secured financing. Letters of Intent are not accepted as proof of financing.
• If selected, this information will be published in the password-protected online Forum catalogue, so please ensure all details are accurate.

• Two stills from the project. If selected, these will be used on the Forum website and in the printed publication. Please upload high-resolution landscape images with a minimum width of 3,000 pixels in .JPG format only.
• For DocLab Forum projects: please upload a sample of the presentation or pitch.

• Logline (max. 30 words)

• Biography of the director(s), artist(s), and information about the producer(s)/production company, creative team (max. 350 words)

A short paragraph of what type of professionals you are interested in meeting and what you hope to get out of participating in the Forum or the DocLab Forum

Trailer or other visual material to be included on our password-protected website. This material will be shared with accredited industry professionals as part of the meeting selection process. Projects are welcome to use a different trailer or presentation edit during the Forum if preferred.

Information about the two team members who will be representing the project.

At the end of this form, selected projects will be asked to pay the participation fee. The Forum team will then contact the project teams with further information about their participation and presentation format.
