Synopsis
Available in Docs for Sale after World Premiere at IDFA.
House of Hope is an intimate, observational feature documentary set in the West Bank, following Manar and Milad, a couple striving to build normalcy amid constant violence. Together they founded the House of Hope, a Waldorf-inspired school rooted in non-violent resistance, helping children heal from trauma. Filmed over three years, the story begins before October 7, 2023, and unfolds as war intensifies: students return with stories of raids and missiles, while at home Manar and Milad struggle to hold their family together. The film reveals a rare, human perspective of endurance, ideals, and hope against despair.
