Agaar

Agaar means "sky" in Mongolian, is a young herder. Phones and internet open his world. From grasslands to ocean, he lives an unimaginable life. At his peak, he quits and returns to 4,000 mu of semi-desertified pasture. Wi-Fi arrives, the lasso becomes a selfie stick. He imports cattle, but they die. He films videos, livestreams, tests "cloud ranches." All fail. To repay debts, he sells his mother's livestock. Agaar sees this land can't carry his ambitions. Behind him stand four women—mother, sister, wife, daughter. They don't always understand, but never stop believing in him. Their faith lets him rise again. They are his true sky.
