DocLab R&D Summit
The R&D Summit is a one-day think tank event (invite-only) for experts from all corners of the interactive and immersive storytelling industry to explore the next steps in developing the medium.
The R&D Summit is an integral component of the DocLab Industry Track. The program brings together around 125 of the most important stakeholders shaping the immersive and interdisciplinary ecosystem together. Participants include artists, studios, funders, exhibitors, creative technologists, academic researchers, major tech companies, distributors, critics, and archival experts.
After a collective plenary session with panels and presentations, the program is followed by a networking lunch and breakout sessions where participants meet each other in different configurations for roundtable discussions, cross-sector expert meetings, and best practice presentations. The focus is on market knowledge exchange, but the day allows for other exchanges as well, such as tech demos, workshops, clinics, and consultancies. The day ends with networking drinks.
