Festival entries

1. Please read the festival entry regulations carefully.
2. Go to MyIDFA (in the section ‘My submissions’) to send in the online entry form and pay the entry fee.
3. For any questions about the entry process, take a look at our film entries FAQ and the new media & performance FAQ.
4. If your question is not answered in the FAQs, get in touch with us.

To complete the entry process, it is required to fill out our online entry form and complete payment of the entry fee. See the table below for an overview of all deadlines and corresponding entry fees.

If the main country (or countries) of production is on the IBF country list, your entry is eligible for a fee waiver based on IDFA's discretion. In this case, we encourage you to fill out a fee waiver request form.

To all filmmakers: If your film is selected, we encourage you to provide more accessible film formats when possible. Your contact at the program department will get in touch about whether you have a version available with English subtitles, subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing, and/or audio description. For more information, please refer to the guidelines for subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (in Dutch) and audio description from the Audiovisual Accessibility Foundation (SAVT).
