IDFA Forum and Docs for Sale
IDFA’s Markets are at the heart of IDFA’s Industry Program—IDFA Forum and Docs for Sale.
IDFA Forum, IDFA’s co-production and co-financing market, brings together documentary and new media projects with producers, funders, distributors, sales agents, co-producers, and other industry representatives working in an increasingly selective financing landscape.
In 2026, the Forum introduces a renewed presentation structure with Pitch and Roundtable presentations, Rough Cut Presentations, and DocLab Forum, alongside one-on-one meetings across four days. By moving the pitch presentations to the DeLeMar Theater, which is close to other industry locations in the center of Amsterdam, the program will create more capacity for attendees and allow for a more concentrated setting for meetings and exchanges throughout the Forum.
Note: Entries to IDFA Forum are now closed
Docs for Sale, IDFA’s sales and distribution market, presents recently completed documentary films and series to buyers, programmers, distributors, and sales agents during the festival. Positioned alongside IDFA Forum, the market creates a dedicated space for discovery and acquisition at a moment when distribution models and audience trajectories are shifting.
