IDFA Bertha Fund call for entries: IBF Classic
The IDFA Bertha Fund calls for entries for IBF Classic funding scheme.
The IDFA Bertha Fund is now accepting entries for its flagship grant program IBF Classic that offers support to documentary projects in development and (post-)production.
The deadline for entries is December 10, 2024.
Eligible filmmakers can enter their documentary project in one of two categories:
Project development, with the maximum contribution per project reaching €7,500.
Production & post-production, with the maximum contribution per project reaching €25,000.
In addition to funding, IBF Classic also offers selected filmmakers
tailored support through IDFA’s Filmmaker Support department, providing
ample opportunity for them to connect with IDFA’s professional network
year-round.
IBF Classic welcomes creative documentary projects that tell compelling and pertinent stories in a bracing visual approach and have the potential to reach and resonate with audiences worldwide. Eligible documentary projects must be from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, or the Caribbean (see the IBF Classic Country List).
