Palestinian delegation comes to IDFA with two events
The Delegation Project Presentation features three upcoming projects.
Among the numerous Delegations from all over the world visiting IDFA this year to present new projects, the Palestine Film Institute (PFI) is bringing three upcoming feature-length documentaries in a showcase which will take center stage during the Delegation Project Presentation of Palestine Documentary Hub at IDFA, along with renowned international film producers, distributors, sales agents, and selected filmmakers.
The session will take place November 12 at 14:00 in ITA's Pleinfoyer, and PFI will facilitate meetings for the directors, allowing them to connect with potential international collaborators and the broader festival network. In addition to presenting and discussing their projects before a captive audience of influential professionals and decision-makers, each director will receive a personalized program, collaboratively developed with PFI's industry consultants, ensuring their projects receive the attention and support they deserve.
The projects are listed below, and their detailed descriptions can be found here, along with other information about Palestinian presence at IDFA.
- We Never Left by Dalia Al Kuri (Palestine, Norway)
- The Roller. The Life. The Fight. by Hazem Alqaddi and Elettra Bisogno (Palestine, Belgium)
- Sheikh Jarrah by Yousef Hammad and Noora Said (Palestine)
The Delegation Project Presentation: Palestine-Doc-Hub is an initiative by the Palestine Film Institute (PFI) in collaboration with IDFA. The sixth edition is developed in cooperation with International Documentary Association (IDA). The PFI want to extend its gratitude and thanks to the many friends who made this possible, including the filmmakers, the consultants, and the IDFA market team.
